Nicole with Jeana Keough
Excerpted from the Orange County Register:
In Wednesday’s episode, the housewives and their daughters will be clients in an elimination challenge. Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough, Lauri Waring, Tammy Knickerbocker, Tamra Barney and former housewife Kimberly Bryant are reported to be participants. Their daughters Briana, Kara, Ashley, McKenzie, Megan and Lindsey are said to be on the show as well.
“Some of the girls liked their hair, and the other girls were in tears,” said housewife Jeana Keough. “They had to go get their hair fixed (afterward). I wanted to be on the show for fun. But it was a major cut job for me. I had to go get extensions (afterward).”
Keough said the episode was shot in April on a set in Burbank made to look like a hair salon. A limousine picked up the ladies from their homes in Orange County and took them to and from the studio. Keough’s daughter Kara was flown in from Berkeley, where she’s attending college.
“When you cut somebody’s hair, it’s traumatic,” Jeana Keough said. “There’s very dramatic things happening” on the show.
Keough would not say who won the challenge, but she did say that there are some fascinating personalities on the series.
“Some of them were really characters (pot..meet kettle)– over the top, crazy, fun,” she said. “One of the haircutters said to Kimberly, ‘Go change. You look like an Orange County housewife.’”
Tabatha Coffey, last season’s fan favorite, is the guest judge.
Wednesday, on Bravo.

Season 2 of Shear Genius premiered on Bravo last night.
In the season premiere, 12 stylists are tested by the judges in what promises to be an interesting season.
The first two challenges sucked…big time.
Would you let Stevie Wonder cut your hair? Yes, the first test was a blindfold challenge. The 12 victims, er, I mean models, had to let the stylists cut their hair blindfolded. One of the stylists ….names are not quite straight yet, cut himself during the challenge, and tells the client “he doesn’t have anything”, which will be grist for the mill at the gay websites for days.

Charlie Dee Gail Glenn Matt Nekisa Meredith Nicole
Oshun Parker Paul
Dee, a much better-looking woman on television than in the Bravo photographs, wins the challenge and immunity from elimination. Oshun loses it. You can tell by the look on his face that he does not take criticism well. In fact, he really got the loser’s edit. You knew, from this first challenge, he would be going home first.
The Elimination Challenge:
The contestants are ranked in order and are allowed to choose their models. Dee, as the winner, chooses first, Oshun chooses last. His model has thin, fine hair, very hard to work with.
Characters to emulate/interpret include Marge Simpson, Wilma Flintstone and Lucy from Peanuts.
Charlie uses blue hair extensions to emulate Marge Simpson. Daniel wins the challenge. Oshun again loses the challenge, and is eliminated, muttering “this is bullshit” on his way out. To see his exit interview (and a bunch of commercials) go to http://www.bravotv.com/Shear_Genius/season/2//index.php
the judges get their very own post. Plastic surgery is doing great business.
And speaking of hot tranny messes:
Next Week :
WTF? Will Bravo ever stop pimping out The Real Housewives of Orange County? These botoxed Barbie’s will definitely give the stylists a run. Will Vicki howl? Will Lauri Waring Peterson’s face move? Stay tuned.

Shauna Raisch was considered the villain of season 3 by a 60% vote.
Even Dontez Love could not match her in the reader’s poll vote count.
Many viewers commented on her “anti-fat people rant” caught on video by the producers of Split Ends, and widely circulated on the Internet. Additionally, The Style Networks message board is rife with the animosity between the two stylists and their salons. Krisanna Conrad of Melissa and Co. had quite a little smackdown with Shauna on the message boards. Shauna also has an “alter-ego” named William Wonder, defending her no matter how bizarre her actions and statements.
Dontez Love and Michael Christopher shared the remainder of the vote. I thought the comments by Kerri Kasem about Delaware were pretty harsh, also. Michael Christopher had quite a bit to say too, posting as “beauty”.
Worth Mentioning: Sabrina from the Dontez Love, Chris-Do episode. Christopher , the salon owner in the Gina Forestieri/Alex Hernandez episode, though he’d fall into the “bad” category more than the “ugly”.
And……..
Various pseudonyms are posting messages about how great Jeffrey Serra of the Giuseppe Franco Salon is. I received a comment about “hosing” Jeffrey in my review of the show. In the meantime, there is some sort of bizarre, personal back and forth between Salon Mosaic employees and ex-employees going on. The world of “reality” TV. Go figure.
Split Ends Season Four is now casting. Grab your 15 minutes.

El Cruz of Style Labb in Dallas was considered to be the “baddest” of the bad. I guess screwing another woman on national TV with the girlfriend bound to see it didn’t go over too well with the viewers.
Split Ends -Doggie-Do? co-star Krisanna Conrad came in second, but I suspect this was all part of the smackdown between Twiggs Salon and Melissa and Company.
Susan Summers and Arsenio Amadis shared an equal number of votes. Susan Summers had no business on the show at all, since she had no skills. Arsenio had great skills, he was just such a prissy little ass.
Worth mentioning: Sandy from Shag Salon in Boston, his general sleaziness and his treatment of Hasblady Guzman. Flat-ironing his beard..give me a break. That Babette at Umberto’s of Beverly Hills seemed pretty mean too, along with Shauna Raisch’s employees at Twiggs. Speaking of which….the ugly coming soon

Everyone loves Chris
Chris Do was the most popular participant this season. He received 66% of the vote in the Reader’s Poll Also. there are women on the Style Network’s message board wanting Chris to “do” more than their hair! An example from one of his fans:
Wow Chris! I dont often watch this show but I saw the previews and thought you were hot so I watched the show and was blown away by your physical appearance and your personality……….! You certainly made an impression on me. How do I contact you
There are other posts from women with Chris-lust, and I’m sure he has stalkers by now!! MORE ……
